"Cherokee" stands a stout 15 hands tall. This gelding is the definition of gentle! He will be the ultimate "husband" or family horse! He is easy to catch and loves attention. He has smooth gaits and is comfortable to ride. has a nice little neck rein, is soft in the bridle and has a good stop. He can be ridden bareback in a halter with no problems. Rides in a hackamore or a bit and is very willing to do anything asked of him. He is more woah than go, but still has a nice forward walk. Cherokee is not spooky and is a trail horse deluxe! Our 6 Year old daughter rides him all over. She can catch, groom, tack, bathe, and lift his feet all on her own. He has the patience to stand there quietly no matter how long she takes.
